  Program

  "What Have You Revealed?"

The program will be presented by our members.  Please bring something special that relates to your ancestor to show to everyone... or be prepared to talk about something you found in your research. Sharing is a great part of genealogy! Be sure to be there!

The Gendemosee County Genealogical Society meets regularly on the last Thursday on the month at 1:00 pm at the Gendemosee Regional Library on First Street, South Gendemosee.  We offer a program, Speical Interest Groups and the opportunity to meet and share with other genealogists.  Members receive our monthly E-Newsletter with details of all events.  Members also have access to the "Members Only" section on our website as well as daily updates on events held by the  society or regionally by other local societies.  All who are interested in researching their family history are welcome to attend a meeting as a our guest.

TIP OF THE WEEK:  There are three types of wills: Attested, Holographic and Nuncupative. The attested will is the most common and is prepared for the testator. A holographic will is written by the testator himself. A nuncupative will is the deathbed wishes of the testator, recorded by a witness present at the bedside. All wills must be witnessed. (Probate Records)
